About the author and illustrator

Paula Harrison is a bestselling author who began inventing stories and writing them down as a child. After studying English, she became a primary school teacher, where she loved sharing books, before writing stories of her own. Paula has always loved cats because of their independent nature and playful personalities.

Jenny Løvlie was born and grew up in Northern-Norway on Ekkerøy, a tiny peninsula sticking out into the Barents Sea. She is fascinated by the powerful bond between humans and animals. She won the 2019 Waterstones Children’s Book Award for her picture book The Girls written by Lauren Ace.
