Book of the Month: Mayor Bunny’s Chocolate Town

Mayor Bunny’s Chocolate Town

By Elys Dolan

Age 2+

Tackling serious topics through an egg-cellent combination of chocolate and chickens, Mr Bunny is back in a hilarious sequel to the Lollies award-winning Mr Bunny’s Chocolate Factory.

A tongue-in-cheek and very topical introduction to the fact that politicians might not always be telling the truth, this is a book that will entertain you as much as your child.

Elys Dolan’s brilliant illustrations are bursting with jokes and sub-plots that will make it one to read again and again – long after you’ve eaten all of your chocolate eggs this Easter!

Win Mayor Bunny’s Chocolate Town

To celebrate the return of Mr Bunny this Easter, we’re giving three of you the chance to win a copy of the book.

About the book

Mayor Bunny’s Chocolate Town

By Elys Dolan

Mr Bunny is back . . . and this time he’s running for mayor. Coop Town needs some urgent repairs – and Mr Bunny is promising to make it great again. At first, the chicken electorate is wowed by Mr Bunny’s promises of new chocolate houses, new chocolate parks, new chocolate swimming pools – as well as his bold claim that chocolate will repel hungry foxes.

But what will happen when the truth comes home to roost?

About the Author

Elys Dolan is an author and illustrator currently living and working in Cambridge. She works predominantly with ink, newfangled digital witchcraft and coloured pencils of which she is the proud owner of 178 but can never seem to find a sharpener.

When not doing pictures and making things up, Elys enjoys growing cacti, collecting pocket watches and eating excessive amounts of fondant fancies.
